O Lord Jesus Christ, You embraced little children who were brought to You, and laid Your hands upon them and blessed them, saying: Suffer the little children to come to Me, and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of heaven, and, Their angels always behold the face of My Father: look down, I beg You, upon the innocence of the little ones(s). Mercifully bless this child (these children) that in love and grace it (they) may ever learn to know and love and fear You more and more, to keep Your commandments more perfectly, and so attain to the joys of everlasting life. Through You, O Saviour of the world, who with the Father and the Holy Ghost live and reign, God, world without end. Amen.
